Born in a small hamlet of Grassland Alberta in 1954. My parents owned a general store and also farmed. After a wild life of oil rigs and partying. I began to ask, there must be more to life than marriage or a career.
What is the deeper meaning to life and who put us here?
On Ukrainian Easter Sunday 1977, I had a true Born-again experience. Later the Lord graciously filled me with the Holy Spirit. Since then, the Lord has occasionally opened my eyes to see into the Spirit world.
He then led me into the Agape Force Ministry (Sister ministry to YWAM). There I served in the travelling street ministry for 7 years. It was in that ministry I met my wife and we married in 1984. We have two beautiful grown-up children.
For one year we taught English as a second language in a Muslim country. I recommend every westerner should live 2-3 months in a 3rd world country, its a great experience.
In returning to Vancouver, the doors opened to start a Central Vacuum Business. The purpose was a means of tent making in order to do short term missions. Many trips were taken to Guatemala, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Mexico. While doing this we served 8 years as assistant Pastors at Destiny Centre in Vancouver.
The word of the Lord came to us for 20 years that we would see revival then move back to Alberta. We thought He meant the church or city, but He was really talking about our own lives. So, we settled in Camrose AB. Then the Lord reminded me that when I was a heathen working on the oil rigs, 40 years previously, that I would one day live here in Camrose. I responded; You Were Right (again). Not looking for it, in 2015, the Lord led me into the Deliverance and Inner Healing Ministry.
My heart is to see individuals and churches set on fire for God. So that they in turn will go out and share the truth of the Gospel and do the works of Christ, Mark 16:17,18. Our spirits are saved, but unfortunately our soul (mind, will and emotions) and body at times need healing of past hurts etc. Mathew 5:8 talks about, “Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God (or walk unrestricted with more freedom and boldness to do the works of Christ), for His Glory. Romans 8:19 “All creation is crying out for the sons of God to be manifested.”
