Greg and Esther Kim Nelson have a heart for discipleship and kingdom ministry. Whether it is to an individual or the church internationally, they are always looking to strengthen relationships in order to see people released into the calling God has on their lives. They collectively have close to 25 years in ministry across multiple platforms including: pastoral ministry, Global Missions in over 13 countries, and Alpha ministry.
Greg currently serves part time as a Missions and Discipleship Pastor at Dwelling Place Church – Coquitlam and is the Program Director for the Life Launch Program at Pacific Life Bible College- Surrey, BC. Esther is currently engaged full time with her volunteer role as a mentor to individuals doing a 12-week Spiritual and Emotional Wellness program.
They have 2 beautiful daughters named Chiara-9 and Tayah-6. They look forward to connecting to see how they can serve you in your context.
Greg was raised in the southern part of the U.S., it’s no surprise Greg got an early start in southern hospitality. After graduating from Appalachian State University and spending ten years in the business field, he finally answered the call God put on his life at a very young age to be an apostle and evangelist. This led him to move to Australia to do mission work where he met Esther in 2010. They married in 2012 and started a family in 2015. Since then Greg has had a vast amount of experience in global ministry through his time working as a missionary, a Pastor, and with Alpha Ministries. He boasts about nothing but Christ and his beautiful family.
Esther was raised by missionary parents from South Korea. She was born into Youth With a Mission in Hawaii, and quickly immigrated to Canada at a young age. She received her Bachelor’s in Fine Arts/Sculpture and Installations at Ontario College of Art and Design. She later worked with Youth With a Mission in Australia where she met her husband Greg. She has led a kitchen full of global volunteers, catered meals for the stars, but she mostly enjoys preparing meals in a smaller intimate setting with the call to disciple. She is anointed to find the root of the issue and compel those she ministers to freedom in the Kingdom ministry of God.
Collectively Greg and Esther have over 25 years in ministry with a call to make disciples and build bridges to release others in Kingdom Ministry.
